10 Classics You Need In Your Fall Wardrobe
Updated: Oct 15, 2020
Hello October! The humidity is gone for most of us, the temperatures are dropping and it’s time to break out the fall attire. As we all know there will be trends that will be here one week and gone the next but there are certain pieces that I view as classics and should be must-haves for every women’s fall wardrobe.
Blazers
A fall wardrobe would not be complete without blazers. Blazers are an essential staple piece that comes in an abundance of colors or patterns but you should always have a black, white, and classic navy because you will always be able to build looks from these basics. Here I paired this classic Ralph Lauren blazer with jeans for a polished look and with sneakers for a casual version.

Denim Jacket
This is the easiest way to transition pieces from summer to fall. For all those summer dresses that are sleeveless adding a denim jacket allows you to maximize your wardrobe. Both of these dresses I wore in the summer, and I transitioned them by simply adding two different jean jackets to make them cool weather friendly,

LBD (Little Black Dress)
Any LBD will do as long as you like the style and it is comfortable. I purchased this LBD from Boohoo.com when they had their 60% off sale.

Graphic T-Shirt
You can never have too many graph t-shirts. They can be worn separately or worn under a jacket or button-down shirt.

Leopard
This probably should have been number 1 on my list because the leopard is my favorite print. Leopard can be worn as a neutral color and can be paired with just about anything. It is a popular print and can be found on shoes, pants, jackets, shirts. Just take your pick!

White Oversized Top
It's a great piece to have when you just need a quick look without the hassle. You can wear it with jeans or even leggings.

Denim Jeans
Denim Jeans is the ultimate classic wardrobe must-have because you can go casual or dress them up. Also, make sure to have different washes (dark/light) and different styles (boyfriend/skinny/bootcut)

Cardigan/Kimono & Chunky Sweaters
It is Fall so there has to be a few cardigans/kimono and chunky sweaters in your closet They are easy pieces to pair for a quick effortless look. The "kimono" on the left is actual a robe that I purchased for .99 at the thrift store!

Boots (Riding and Ankle)
During the cooler months, boots are probably the most worn shoe. They look great with Jeans, leggings, and skirts! Make sure to have a basic brown and black pair.

Wide Brim Hat
Last year this item wouldn’t have made my list, but times have changed. I am in love with wearing hats! You can pair it with any of the previous items above and it will elevate your look in seconds!

Moto Jacket
Moto jackets give an edgier look when you wear it with a pair of ripped jeans. You can also wear it with a skirt to create a less edgier look.

Don't forget all of my 10 must-haves can be Thrifted! Thrift stores are the best places to purchase blazers and jeans which can be pricey depending on the brand. You can pick them up for less than $5 each at your local thrift store. On your next shopping trip keep this list handy and see how many of these items you can find!
