You procrastinated, and now Halloween is right around the corner, and you don't have a costume. Don't worry the thrift store is to the rescue. Here are four easy last-minute Halloween costumes that you can thrift.
Thrift stores are filled with clothes from the 70's. They have bell bottoms, mini skirts, high boots, vests, jumpsuits, and the list can go on. My Halloween costume last year. African Print Dashiki $3
Lane Bryant Bell Bottom Jeans $ 3
The Afro Wig Amazon for $5
Platform Wedges - Had already
Scrubs are super affordable at thrift stores. I found each of these pieces for under $2.00
Tip: If you can't find a pair of clogs wear a pair of white sneakers instead.
A teacher is the easiest costume on the list in my opinion because you can wear anything that is in your closet. A nice blazer, dress pants, a dress or a sports jacket. If you don't have any of these items, they can be thrifted. To complete the look throw on a pair of glasses and just like that, your teacher costume is complete.
If you always wanted to be a soldier for a day, then being a military soldier for Halloween might be the perfect costume. These military uniforms were all under $3.00 and in excellent condition.
Halloween costumes do not have to be expensive, especially since you will only be wearing it for one day. The thrift store is a great resource to find an excellent costume and save money. Inexpensive and straightforward you can't beat that!
